Rohit Chopra serves as the head Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and as a Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission. He joined the Biden administration as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in January 2021.

Chopra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
