Ramesh Sachdev came from Kenya to Britain, where he trained as an accountant. Before coming to the UK, Pratibha was the headmaster of a nursery school. The couple together started Lifestyle Care in 1987, a nursing home business in England.
They founded the God my Silent Partner Foundation (GMSP Foundation) in 2006, and since then has donated over 12 million pounds to charity. They aim to decrease social inequality that especially impacts women and young girls by donating to organizations that align with the UN Sustainable Development goals.
In 2018, the couple was awarded Philanthropists of the Year by the Asian Awards.
