He initially served in the Indian mission as an Economic and Commercial Head in Libya, however moved to Dubai to pursue his entrepreneurial passions in 1987. He founded the Nikai Group — now, this company started from small entrepreneurial passions as a global business conglomerate with primary business in electronics, appliances, information technology, general trading, and food.
In the UAE, he has been heavily involved in community development within the Indian community in the country, and actively involved in groups such as Dubai Autism Center, Al Noor Training Center for Children with Special Needs, and the Rashid Center for the determined.
Paras has received many awards and accolades for both his business success and his charitable impact. He has also won the Bharat Shiromani Award.
