Monte Ahuja launched and grew Transtar Industries, developing it into a leading company in the distribution of automotive transmission replacement parts to the aftermarket. Monte is currently Chairman, CEO of MURA Holdings LLC, an investment company.

Monte has previously served as Trustee of the Cleveland State University Board and its Chairman of the Board. In 2011, University Hospitals named its new hospital “Ahuja Medical Center”, and Cleveland State University named its business college “The Monte Ahuja College of Business”.

Monte graduated from OSU in 1970 with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He earned MBA Degree from Cleveland State University in 1975.
