Mohan has vast administrative experience spanning over 5 decades both in business and social ventures. He has worked for and helped to significantly expand the work of the Al Shirawi Group.

Mohan is a Rotarian and is also associated with many charitable organizations both in UAE and several other countries in the world. He has been actively involved in supporting the noble cause of the Rashid Pediatric Centre for Children with Special Needs in Dubai, which caters to God’s Own Children. He has arranged significant contributions and even presented Smart Boards for e-learning as a goodwill gesture. The list of Mohan’s noble work for social causes is endless. Even in his younger days, he made sizable contributions to charity for schools in India and his passion for charity continues unabated.

The Government of Russia awarded Mohan for his “Excellent community services and a keen interest in helping the humanitarian services in the United Arab Emirates”.The Government of Russia, represented by their Consul General in Dubai, gave this award in the presence of high-level Government dignitaries from the Government of United Arab Emirates and many other dignitaries at a glittering ceremony held in Dubai.
