Aneel and Allison Bhusri

Aneel and Allison Bhusri are both entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Over the last 20 years of Aneel’s business career he has served in leadership positions for various companies such as Intel, PeopleSoft, etc. He is the co-founder and CEO of Workday, a leading enterprise cloud applications for finance, HR, and planning. His wife, Allison Bhusri is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Allison has over 20 years of experience in investing and operations, and is currently a member of Broadway Angels, an investment group of investors and business leaders. She is the founder of Lemonade Capital, an investor in technology companies.

Aneel has donated to the Give2SF Fund to help residents and businesses in San Francisco impacted by COVID-19. They both are signatories of the Giving Pledge, and have donated to the Workday Foundation, which aims to help underserved areas with workplace development, their goal being to “create meaningful employment, break the cycle of poverty, and transform lives.” They’ve also given gifts for youth and human services, with an eye towards the San Francisco area.The Bhusris have supported places like Harlem Children’s Zone, Jumpstart,Teach for America – Bay Area, and Tipping Point Community.

Aneel holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University. He is a Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Allison earned a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She serves as a Trustee for Gateway Public Schools and The Hamlin School, and an Advisor to Reach Capital and the Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Network.
