Narendra Mulani spent 23 years at Accenture where he held several global leadership roles. In 2013 he was charged with founding and growing the Accenture Applied Intelligence business unit as Global Managing Director. The unit is responsible for building core capabilities in analytics, artificial intelligence and automation to create functional and industry solutions at scale. Narendra was also asked to coordinate the application of artificial intelligence and analytic technologies across Accenture. Over the past 7 years he led Accenture’s Applied Intelligence business from its inception to driving in excess of $8 billion in annual revenues. This is believed to be one of the largest applied AI businesses in the world.
Narendra’s deep understanding of digital disruption, strong business operator skills, and ability to collaborate and influence across a highly matrixed organization drove the rapid and profitable growth of the business while also balancing for enterprise risk. Reflecting his dual role as strategist and business operator, Narendra was the Senior Managing Director responsible for the business unit. Prior to his role in Applied Intelligence Narendra held senior leadership roles at Accenture including the P&L owner for the Products industry portfolio in North America.
Prior to this role Narendra was the Global Managing Director for Accenture’s Supply Chain Consulting Practice. Narendra is passionate about building new businesses that address the big problems of our era. He believes that analytics and AI are new production functions that will allow CPF portfolio companies to address the important challenge of effectively managing the cost of delivering superior health outcomes. He looks forward to bringing his expertise and experience to working with CPF and its Operating teams in support of the CPF mission of doing well by doing good.
