Private Equity And Fund Development Manager at Incofin Investment Management

Kapil Kanungo works as Private Equity and Fund Development Manager at Incofin. In his role, he (1) drives the development of Incofin’s new private equity and private debt impact investment initiatives, (2) is responsible for managing relationships with investors, and (3) works on investment transactions on the private equity side, specifically covering the water technology sector. Outside of his work at Incofin, Kapil is an expert member on the panel of CFA Society, supporting them with the development of their Certificate in Impact Investing programme. He is also a fellow with Belgium’s 40 under 40 and the founder of Impact for Breakfast in Belgium.

Prior to joining Incofin, he worked as a Project Manager at Dalberg Advisors’ London office. At Dalberg, he worked extensively in the firm’s finance and investment practice, and with clients including various private sector institutions, governments, multilateral and bilateral agencies, development banks, and foundations. He has worked across Europe, South and Southeast Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Kapil started his career at JP Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Banking Division. He holds an MBA with gold medal from Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where until recently, he taught a course on problem solving. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
