Kanika Radhakrishnan

Founder & Managing Attorney, Evergreen Valley Law Group (EVLG)

Ms. Radhakrishnan is a US Patent Attorney and dual licensed to practice law in California and India.   She is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Evergreen Valley Law Group (EVLG), since 2004.  EVLG is a full service IP law firm with offices in the Silicon Valley and Bangalore, India  serving the patent drafting, filing and prosecution needs of Fortune 500’s and deep tech start ups in the sectors of computers, software, electronics, semiconductor processing, AI-ML, AR-VR, Big Data and Clean tech.  In her two decades of practice, she has successfully obtained 5000+patents.  EVLG, India continues to be the go-to IP law firm for Global Capability Center’s (GCC’s) in India.

Ms. Radhakrishnan is an active Charter Member of TiE, a global non-profit that fosters entrepreneurship.  As a Governing board member, she kickstarted the Angel Program at TiE Bangalore to facilitate access to funding for entrepreneurs.   She also served as Fund Manager of TiE SoCal Angels Women’s Fund.  She is the past Co-Chair of TiE Women Global.  In her 4 years with TiE, she has impacted 500+ women entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, networking and and access to funding.  She led the World’s biggest Pitch Competition for women founders in Dubai and India mobilizing 38 global chapters to participate and created strategic partnerships for the Program resulting in an unprecedented fund raise towards equity-free cash prizes and Investment dollars of 750k for women founders.

She is an active Angel investor having invested in over 25 companies in the US and India in sectors such as e-commerce, SaaS, EdTech, consumer products and Food and hospitality and clean tech.

She has served on the boards of numerous other non-profits in the Bay Area including the South Asian Bar Association-Northern California (SABA-NC) and Narika, a non-profit in Oakland, CA that works with survivors of domestic violence.

Kanika is a graduate of  Harvard Law School and University of Warwick, England.  She received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Delhi in India.
