Jayant is co-founder of ImpactKarma PBC, d/b/a Karma Wallet, which he founded with his son. Karma Wallet is a financial ecosystem that leverages cutting-edge technology and data to give consumers the power to create change in the world with every single purchase. Through the Karma Wallet Card, a prepaid reloadable debit card, members can earn cashback for sustainable shopping and automatically donate to nonprofits with select purchases. Jayant an advisor to two venture capital funds focused on Insurtech space. 

Jayant was an executive at TigerRisk Partners from 2008 to 2018, a risk management and capital solutions provider for insurance and reinsurance companies. Jayant was the global head of analytics and technology, and part of the executive team. During his tenure at TigerRisk, built the reinsurance brokerage business and successfully launched three separate technology platforms.  

Before joining TigerRisk, Jayant founded two companies. In 2000, Jayant founded Weather Predict, where he commercialized a technology that improves the quality of weather forecasting. Weather Predict enables financial companies to gain a competitive advantage by more accurately hedging weather risk. Jayant was the CEO of Weather Predict until its acquisition by Renaissance Reinsurance (RenRe) in 2006. Jayant then helped establish RenRe Investment Managers (RIM). RIM provided financial risk management solutions for companies with weather-related risk, and invested/traded weather derivatives, weather contingent energy contracts, and agricultural commodities. 

Prior to his startups, Jayant was Vice President at Renaissance Reinsurance Ltd in Bermuda. He was responsible for leading the development of REMS ©, a proprietary reinsurance risk management and pricing system. Jayant also led the exposure management team along with all technology efforts. Before joining Renaissance, Jayant worked in Boston with Applied Insurance Research (AIR), a software-consulting firm specializing in insurance and reinsurance risk management and pricing. AIR was one of the first companies to quantify catastrophe risk for insurance and reinsurance companies.
