Anand has previously built five products globally which grew to 10M+ users (one with 1 billion+ users) and co-founded Aeroprise Inc. (acq. by BMC Software). Most recently, he was EVP of Products at Five9 (Nasdaq: FIVN). Five9 added $10B in value since 2019. He is a seed investor/advisor in 80+ startups across 🇺🇸/🇮🇳, 35 of which have grown to $250M+ and 7 > $1B in valuation. Exits to date include Fynd, Netmeds, Aisle, Innov8, and Creo.

Prior to this, Anand was Director of Messenger Platform at Facebook. He was previously CPO @ Snapdeal, one of India’s e-commerce leaders. Before, he was CPO at Bharti Airtel, a global mobile operator with 300M subscribers. Earlier, Anand was with Yahoo! as Sr. Director for Search and Mobile and built Aeroprise from founding till acquisition by BMC Software. He is on the board of directors at publicly listed Future Enterprises Ltd (NSE: FEL).

Anand holds an M.S. in Electrical Engg. from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Communications Engg. from PSG College of Technology, India. In 2010, Anand was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. In 2017, he was named to Fortune’s ‘40 under 40’ Ind
