Ahu Chhapgar is an accomplished technology and product leader with over two decades of experience driving transformation and innovation across digital products, payments, e-commerce, fintech, and financial services. Known for his deep expertise and transformation capabilities, in the tech and payments industry, Ahu has held several high-impact roles including Global CTO and US COO at Zip, Managing Director and Global Head of Payments Technology at Citi and SVP of Digital Products Technology at Mastercard. He also spent more than seven years at PayPal, progressing through senior engineering roles while contributing to the company’s growth and innovation.

Ahu’s extensive experience spans leadership, strategy, and execution, making him a key figure in the payment industry’s digital evolution. His passion for building great products is only matched by his commitment to building and mentoring teams that drive meaningful change.

Originally from Mumbai and now in the NJ area, Ahu is an ardent cricket and football fan. He loves to travel with his family, enjoys teaching math, engaging in his kids’ sports activities and rooting for the San Francisco 49ers. Go Niners!
