Dr. Smita Siddhanti, with her dedicated career contributing at the intersection of Science, Technology and Public Policy, founded EnDyna Inc. following a successful career with leading consulting firms. A nationally recognized expert in public health risk assessment andenvironmental management, Dr. Siddhanti has provided organizational and technical leadership in managing work related to environmental, safety, and health in various areas including hazardous and radioactive waste management, drinking water, pesticides, air quality and solid waste. She has extensive work experience in regulatory review, policy analysis, and evaluation of technical and policy options supporting several program in US Environmental Protection Agency. She has also worked extensively with the states, other federal agencies, and multilateral organizations to develop regulations, policy, guidance, market-based approaches to environmental protection, Sustainability, and training. . In addition to several publications, Dr. Siddhanti authored the book Multiple Perspectives on Risk and Regulation: The Case of Deliberate Release of Genetically Engineered Organisms into the Environment, published in 1991. She has served on the Virginia Governor’s Air Quality Board. Smita currently serves as President of the D.C. Chapter of the global organization of The Indus Entrepreneurs – TiE. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy, an M.S. in Technology Policy, M.Sc. in Human Physiology and a B.Sc. in Biology.
