Aman Thakker is Senior Program Manager at Indiaspora. He is also an Adjunct Fellow (non- resident) with the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. Aman comes to Indiaspora with a background in research, particularly on the international relations of India as well as its foreign and security policies. Previously, Aman was a research associate at CSIS, where he focused his research on India’s domestic reform agenda and evolving security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific. Aman was born and raised in Mumbai, India, before moving to the United States at the age of 13. He earned his M.Sc. in Modern South Asian Studies at the University of Oxford, where he was the J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Scholar at St Antony’s College, and earned his B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
