ChaloGive campaign

Chalo-Give

Indiaspora launched its ChaloGive campaign to encourage and facilitate giving by the Indian diaspora. The ChaloGive campaign is an effort to address the obstacles identified above and aims to make online giving simple and strategic. Similar to Giving Tuesday in the US or Daan Utsav in India, the goal of the campaign is to engage this important demographic of potential micro donors, and create a new culture of giving by the diaspora. Through ChaloGive and our donor partners, we raised over $15 million for COVID-19 relief in India. In 2020, ChaloGive provided over 8 million meals to people in the U.S. and India.

Philanthropy Summit

Indiaspora hosts an annual Philanthropy Summit, engaging the diaspora in action-oriented and thought-provoking conversations around various aspects of philanthropy. The Philanthropy Summit partners with other organizations working to fundraise for India, such as Give (give.do) and Dasra (dasra.org).

We convene philanthropists, non-profit leaders, business executives and policy experts to host discussions on relevant topics such as CSR, the power of arts education, and philanthropic efforts towards mitigating climate change.
