As of 2024, Vid Desai serves as the Chief Information Officer for the Office of Digital Transformation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In this role, he leads initiatives to modernize the FDA’s digital infrastructure, enhancing the agency’s capacity to manage data, improve regulatory processes, and ensure public health safety.
