Hon. Minister Teeruthraj ( Vikram ) Hurdoyal is the Minister of Public Service, Administrative and Institutional Reforms. He was elected First Member for Constituency No 10, Grand River South East /Montagne Blanche on the 8th of November 2019 and was appointed Minister on November 12, 2019.

Successful entrepreneur, Hon. Vikram Hurdoyal has received numerous awards throughout his career, which includes the Spirit of Entrepreneur Award, The Most Outstanding Agro Entrepreneur Award and The Gold Award of Exporters.

Holder of a Diploma in Business Administration, Hon. Vikram Hurdoyal is well recognised as a dedicated Social Worker. He has served as Chairman of Flacq District Council for two mandates as well as the President of the Association of District Councils. Hon. Vikram Hurdoyal enjoys reading, football, scrabble and spending his free time with his family and close friends. He believes that life is a wheel, the more you give, the more you get back. He is not here for a position, but for a responsibility.
