Baroness Sandip Verma is a British politician and businesswoman who has been a member of the House of Lords since 2006, representing the Conservative Party. Throughout her career, she has been an advocate for diversity, women’s rights, and international development. 

Baroness Verma served as a government minister in several roles, including Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for International Development (DFID) and at the Department of Energy and Climate Change. She has worked to promote gender equality, sustainable development, and efforts to combat climate change.
