Saji George is the Mayor of Sunnyvale, Texas, where he has been a resident for over 18 years. George has a distinguished career background, having worked as an engineer with the Indian Space Research Organization and later in engineering and management roles in the U.S. He earned a master’s degree in engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA. 

As mayor, George is dedicated to maintaining Sunnyvale’s rural character, enhancing economic development, and ensuring high quality of life. He has served on the Sunnyvale Town Council for multiple terms and was Mayor Pro Tem before his election as mayor. George’s leadership is marked by his commitment to transparency, fairness, and proactive community engagement. He also emphasizes the importance of balancing residential and commercial property taxes to support the town’s financial health​​​​.
