Saif Khan will serve as Special Assistant at the Office of VA General Counsel helping the VA office carry out four specific missions inlcuding Veterans Health Care, Veterans Benefits, and National Cemetery Administration. Saif has previously served as attorney advisor at the Board of Veterans Appeals. He is also the founder and former president of the Veteran led non profit American Veterans Committee, and also serves a s vice president of the World Veterans Foundation.
Saif previously managed a consulting firm and helped launch the non-profit organization Mission: Readiness. He is additionally on the Washington DC Mayor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Board and is president of the Virginia Commonwealth University Alumni Veterans’ Council. He is also a US Army veteran, serving in combat in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Saif received his B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, his Masters in Public Leadership from the University of San Francisco and his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School.
