Pravind Jugnauth, is the Prime Minister of Mauritius, serving since 2017. He is the leader of the Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) and the son of former Prime Minister Sir Anerood Jugnauth. He holds a law degree from the University of Buckingham and a master’s in Business Law from Aix-Marseille University. 

Jugnauth’s political career includes roles as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Finance. As Prime Minister, he focuses on economic reform, infrastructure development, and enhancing Mauritius as a financial hub. His key projects include the Metro Express light rail, healthcare expansion, and educational reforms. Jugnauth emphasizes environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
