Natasha Sarin has been appointed at the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy at the Treasury Department. She is working with other members of the Treasury Department on tax analysis and ensuring the rich pay their fair share.
She previously served as an assistant professor of law at UPENN, with a secondary appointment in the finance department. She has also done research with the intersection of law and finance, and the contemporary policy debates in the areas of financial regulation and tax policy.
She received her BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University, and a JD and PhD in Economics from Harvard University.
