Lopa P. Kolluri

Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Housing and the Federal Housing Administration | United States

Principal Deupty Assistant Secretary at the Federal Housng Administration (FHA) in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Lopa Kolluri, is responsible for the Office’s policies, programs, and operations supporting homebuyers, homeowners, multifamily residents, and housing counselors. She is works with the Office’s oversight of manufactured housing and FHA’s Single Family, Multifamily, and Healthcare mortgage insurance programs.

Lopa has previously served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan. She was also the Chief Development and Operating Officer for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, the nations fourth largest public housing authority. Lopa also held leadership roles at multifamily development and management companies Pennrose and Community Investment Strategies Inc. She additionally served as the Assistant State Treasurer for Economic Development for the State of New Jersey, and the Director of Housing and Community Resources for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.

She has a Bachelors Degree in Economics and French, and a M.A. in Development Economics and International Development from American University.
