Chief Information Officer Jay Mahanand works to drive innovation while maintaining a commitment to simplicity at USAID. He has over 22 years of experience in Information Technology, and has a technical background in telecommunications, systems development, information security, and IT project management.
Jay has previously worked as a CIO, CTO and Network Manager supporting the US Treasury and Naturalization Service. He has served several other managerial positions as well.
Jay graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering. He holds several technical certifications in enterprise architecture, telecommunications, project management, and information security as well.
