Himanshu Gulati, is a prominent Indo-Norwegian politician representing the Progress Party. He has served in various significant political roles, including State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and Public Security from 2013 to 2014, and in the Office of the Prime Minister from 2014 to 2017. Gulati was also the chairperson of the Progress Party’s Youth from 2012 to 2014.
In 2017, he was elected to the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) for Akershus and re-elected in 2021. He currently serves on the Standing Committee on Education and Research and the Delegation to the Nordic Council. Throughout his career, Gulati has been known for his outspoken views on foreign policy, immigration, and taxation.
