Dr. Mohammad Anwar Husnoo is a Mauritian politician and physician, currently serving as the Minister of Local Government and Disaster Risk Management. Born on February 2, 1968, he holds a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. 

Husnoo has been a Member of Parliament for Constituency No. 9 (Moka) since 2014, demonstrating a strong commitment to public health and community welfare. He has played a crucial role in addressing health challenges in Mauritius, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, advocating for vaccination and public health awareness.
