Daleep Singh serves as the Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics, where he plays a critical role in shaping U.S. economic policy on the global stage. With a career spanning high-impact positions, Singh previously served as the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, focusing on international finance, sanctions, and economic statecraft. He also held senior roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, leveraging his expertise to manage economic policy in times of financial volatility.
Singh was instrumental in designing key economic sanctions against Russia following its actions in Ukraine. Known for his adeptness in fusing economic and national security strategies, Singh’s work helps bolster U.S. interests, address global economic challenges, and support stable and resilient international markets. Mr. Singh holds a bachelor’s degree with Duke University in economics and public policy. He also holds a master of business administration/master of public administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University, with a focus on international economics.
