Christine Kangaloo

President of Trinidad and Tobago

Christine Kangaloo has been the President of Trinidad and Tobago, since 2023. A lawyer and seasoned politician, she is a member of the People’s National Movement (PNM). Kangaloo holds a law degree from the University of the West Indies and trained at the Hugh Wooding Law School. 

Her political career began in 2001 as a Senator, followed by roles as Minister of Legal Affairs and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister. She has been instrumental in legislative reforms and public administration improvements. 

As President, Kangaloo prioritizes unity, social justice, and national development, advocating for the rights and well-being of all citizens while strengthening democratic institutions and promoting inclusive governance.
