Charan Jeath Singh Dhesi is the Minister of Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar and has played a significant role in Fiji’s political and business landscape. As a prominent figure in the sugar industry, Dhesi has contributed to the growth of Fiji’s agricultural economy. 

He first entered politics as a member of the Fiji Labour Party and was elected to Parliament in the 1999 general election.
