Arpita Bhattacharyya serves as the Chief of Staff to the deputy Secretary at the US Department of Energy. She has been tapped to help the Biden-Harris Build Back Better agenda.
Arpita was previously one of several Indian Americans selected by the Biden administration for leadership roles, has previously worked at SunPower, a leading renewables company in San Francisco. She has also worked closely with the US and international governments on collaborative climate partnerships at the Center for American Progress.
She holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from Carleton College.
