The Indian diaspora in Singapore has made substantial economic, political and cultural contributions to the nation. Our mission as an organization is to bring together leading community members to strengthen connectivity and inspire leaders from the Diaspora to be a force for good across all continents.
This past week, Indiaspora was honored to meet with over 30 leaders from the diplomatic, business, academic and philanthropic communities across Singapore in pursuit of that goal including the Honorable Jonathan Kaplan, US Ambassador to Singapore; the Honorable Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore; Professor Kishore Mahbubani, Distinguished Fellow at Asia Research Institute, NUS; Ashok Mirpuri, Head – International Policy & Governance, Temasek International; Vipul Chawla, CEO of Fairprice; Kabir Narang, Founding General Partner, B Capital Group with a group of entrepreneurs & investors.
We look forward to strengthening our ties between these great leaders and Indian Origin leaders around the world. Indiaspora was represented by Sanjeev Joshipura, Executive Director, and Preeta D’Souza, Director of Community Relations and Development, India Office.
