Indiaspora held its third launch event commemorating the release of our new impact report with the Boston Consulting Group: “Small Community, Big Contributions, Boundless Horizons” on Thursday, June 20th at the Computer History Museum in Mountainview, California. This event focused on highlighting the diaspora’s progress in technology and innovation through the outcomes of the report. Jay Vijayan, Founder & CEO of Tekion Corp delivered a keynote speech addressing diaspora leaders in tech and business.
Shereen Bhan who serves as Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18 moderated The Diaspora Effect panel with Radha Basu, Founder and CEO of iMerit, Navin Chaddha, Managing Director of Mayfield Fund, and Manish Chandra, Founder & CEO at Poshmark, Inc. Dr. Geetha Murali, CEO of Room to Read and one of our impact report steering committee members was joined by Indiaspora member, Moira Shourie, Executive Director of Zócalo Public Square for a fireside chat, followed by closing remarks from George Kurian, CEO of NetApp.
