Pradip Sarkar is the co-founder and CEO of MushroomAg Private Limited. Pradip is a visually challenged youth entrepreneur and visually challenged and differently abled youth leader. He has passed class 8 and was trained in a residential training program for 2 years on agricultural and animal husbandry practices at Ramkrishna Mission Ashram Narendrapur Blind Boy’s Academy for 2 years.

After that since 2017 he got involved in this MushroomAg project and has been leading it along with two of his cofounding visually challenged youth Pradip Das and Gobinda Roy. In 2019 they together with the help of TotalStart Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Developers an MSME Govt India Business Incubator.

Pradip was always a leader from day one of the inception of this project. He volunteered to start the mushroom farming in his own land with three Mushroom green houses where other visually challenged youth who were trained to become entrepreneurs for over an year in 2016 at BBA, RKM could not come forward. He provided lodging and fooding to 10 of the first bunch of the visually challenged group at his river island village the field project site. He also the 1st to invest in the project. He has been leading and driving this project and the company as its director and CEO to where it is today.
