Manjari Sharma is the founder and Chief Didi of FarmDidi, a for-profit social enterprise with a two-fold aim to provide authentic, natural and healthy alternatives to consumers while empowering rural women. Farm didi is empowering women in rural Maharashtra to manufacture high-quality food products and make an income.
Farm Didi has so far worked with 1,080 women, part of 108 SHGs in 40 villages. These are predominantly in 2 cities in India and planning on expanding to 3 more soon. Farm Didi has received funding from some angel investors and Manjari now plans to partner with banks so they can upgrade their kitchens to provide better quality products.
Manjari holds a MBA from IIM Calcutta and has worked across global organizations like Infosys, Wipro and AT Kearney.
