Kushagra Srivastava, co-founder and chief executive officer of Chakr Innovation, is an engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has worked in multiple social enterprises, and his earlier venture designed and manufactured affordable, eco-friendly, and interactive furniture for school kids up to 5th standard. He was born and brought up in New Delhi, one of the world’s most polluted cities and was inspired to take action when he saw his close ones suffer from the dreadful effects of air pollution. He has won numerous awards from organizations like the Department of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, the National Research Development Corporation, and the Government of India. He was selected as one of the seven Massachusetts Institute of Technology GSW fellows for the year 2016 for his contribution to development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in his community. Kushagra’s work has been featured in BBC London, TechCrunch, Times of India, Hindustan Times, and more.

Bharti Singhla is the co-founder and COO of Chakr. She is currently enrolled as an MBA-MS (Environment) student at Stanford after a a well-rounded expoure of Climate-Tech Entrepreneurship, Management Consulting and Chemical Engineering.

Chakr Innovation has created the first system to capture harmful emissions from diesel generators. The innovative technology captures particulates and converts pollution into useful products like inks and paints.
