Position Summary
Are you passionate about advancing philanthropic efforts and building strong community relationships? Join us as the Senior Development Coordinator at Indiaspora, a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Indian diaspora. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and coordinating development initiatives to support our mission. This position is open to candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Washington D.C.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support Indiaspora’s programs and initiatives.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
- Oversee donor stewardship and recognition efforts, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Coordinate and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
- Prepare and manage grant proposals and reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Track and analyze fundraising metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the development team to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist in creating marketing and promotional materials for fundraising efforts.
- Provide support for board meetings and other organizational events related to development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, and grant management.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in donor management software and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Washington D.C.
Compensation and Benefits
- This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a passionate and dedicated team. The salary range is $75,000-$85,000 and is commensurate with experience. Indiaspora also offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
