TV Narendran is a distinguished leader in the Indian steel industry, who currently heads Tata Steel. Narendran’s leadership philosophy emphasizes remaining pragmatic in the face of resilience. After joining Tata Steel in 1988, Narendran accumulated vast experience in marketing and sales and played a pivotal role in building the ‘Tata Tiscon’ brand. Since taking the helm as Managing Director in 2013, he has significantly grown Tata Steel, and oversaw key acquisitions like Bhushan Steel.
