The co-founder and the Group CEO of Olam International, Sunny Verghese has been with Olam for over 30 years. Headquartered and listed in Singapore, Olam currently ranks among the top 30 largest primary listed companies in terms of market capitalisation on SGX-ST and is a leading food and agri-business with a presence in over 60 countries worldwide. Olam aims to address the many challenges involved in meeting the needs of a growing global population, while achieving positive impact for farming communities, the planet and its stakeholders. Sunny has previously held positions at Kewalram Chanrai Group and Unilever India. He received his post-graduate management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Sunny serves as the Chair of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. In response to COVID-19, the company has committed more than $5.7 million (USD) in humanitarian aid around the globe.
