Pichai’s leadership philosophy centers on innovation, risk management while maintaining a vision for Google’s success. He joined Google to oversee the development of Chrome, before becoming the CEO in 2015.

Pichai ‘s contributions include Chrome, Google Toolbar, and Google Drive. He championed the release of Gemini (formerly Bard), an AI language model. He recieved the Padma Bhushan Award in 2022.  Outside of work, Pichai enjoys cricket and football. Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Lionel Messi as his sporting heroes.
