Already serving as president and COO of Realty Income, Sumit was promoted to president and CEO and president in 2018. Under Sumit’s leadership, Realty has made significant forays into Europe and has increased engagement with investors. Prior to joining Realty Income in 2011, Sumit served as the executive director of UBS Investment Bank for seven years and at Merrill Lynch and Cap Gemini. Sumit completed his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Realty Income has donated $25,000 to the San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund. The company is also an active supporter of environmental work and initiatives. The “Green Team” works to promote environmental practices among company employees through various activities including “I Care About Riding Environmentally (ICARE) Commute Week.”
