She joined Match Group in 2006 and has been a key driver in the company’s mergers and acquisitions, revenue, and product strategy. Prior to her appointment as CEO, Shar served as president of Match Group and previously served as COO of Tinder and established the app as the highest-grossing non-gaming app in the world. Shar received her bachelor’s in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and completed her master’s at Ohio State University.
