As president and chief operating officer of FedEx Corp., Raj oversees the FedEx portfolio of operating companies, including FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, FedEx Services, FedEx Logistics and FedEx Office. He is also co-president and co-chief executive officer of FedEx Services. Prior to assuming his role as president and chief operating officer of FedEx Corp., Raj was president and chief executive officer of FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company. He also has served as executive vice president and chief marketing and communications officer for FedEx Corp. from 2013 to 2018. He first joined FedEx when he joined the marketing team in Memphis in 1991, and moved to Hong Kong to lead marketing activities for the Asia-Pacific region. He is also director of FedEx Corporation, First Horizon National Corporation, U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum, and U.S.-China Business Council.

FedEx has a highly diverse and inclusive workforce with minorities making up 49 percent of its U.S. workforce and 35.5 percent of team management. In response to COVID-19, the company has also launched a $1 million grant program to support small businesses that have been affected by the virus.
