Joining Reckitt Benckiser from PepsiCo, Laxman brought a wide variety of experience from companies across the consumer goods sector. Before his appointment as CEO in 2019, Laxman’s positions at PepsiCo included CEO of regional operations and eventually Global Chief Commercial Officer of the company. He received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune. Laxman completed his masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from The Wharton School of Business.

In addition to his leadership at RB, Laxman is also a trustee of the Brookings Institution and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. RB has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic through its creation of the “Fight for Access Fund” to provide funding to governments and facilities that enable services to combat the coronavirus and promote hygiene.
