Krishnakumar Gopalan is the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of the leading Indian oil and gas companies. He took charge in 2023 after a distinguished 36-year career. At Bharat Petroleum, he is credited with developing successful customer-centric initiatives, including loyalty programs and digitization efforts. 

Prior to his current role, he led the company’s lubricants business and spearheaded growth in both domestic and international markets.  Looking to the future, Gopalan looks to improve the efficiency of Bharat Petroleum’s operations and reduce their environmental impact, while continuing to meet the energy needs of Indians.
