First serving as chairman of Tailored Brands in 2017 and executive chairman in 2018, Dinesh was appointed the president and CEO in 2019. Dinesh was previously the CEO of One Kings Lane and spent seven years at eBay in various executive roles. He also has eight years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Dinesh has a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

In response to the need for personal protection equipment for the COVID-19 pandemic, a Tailored Brands factory in New Bedford, Massachusetts, produced nearly 50,000 reusable cloth face masks.
