Amit joined Palo Alto Networks as president in 2018, and oversees all go-to-market functions, including sales, support, consulting, business development, partnerships and enablement. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Amit was at Google for over 10 years holding various roles of leadership including the founding and building of Google’s Cloud business. He also headed operations for the company’s AR and VR efforts. Before his instrumental roles at Google, Amit was at Oracle for over 20 years serving in various capacities including engineering, sales, and strategy. Amit received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering and earned his master’s degree from Rensselaer.
Palo Alto Networks has teamed up with other Bay Area companies to contribute a total of $22 million towards COVID-19 relief efforts. The company also has active cybersecurity programs for students, including a partnership with the Girl Scouts of America to engage more girls in STEM activities and careers.
