Sejal is a social entrepreneur and Stanford MD/MBA candidate working at the nexus of medicine, technology, and social innovation. She is the cofounder of girltank, an award-winning community hub and digital storytelling platform that connects, inspires, and funds female social entrepreneurs globally; and a Founding Partner at S2 Capital, an early-stage social fund that invests equity and debt in young entrepreneurs in the developing world. More recently, Sejal was appointed to the United Nations Secretary-General’s independent Expert Review Group for Women’s and Children’s Health, a body of 9 individuals that monitors and reports on progress toward Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 globally. She is a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow, Truman Scholar, and World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Sejal graduated with honors in molecular biology from Yale University in 2013.
