Indiaspora (n): The movement of Indians from their ancestral homeland to positions of influence across the world

Indian Americans represent just one percent of the U.S. population but have managed to make a mark in diverse fields such as academia, arts, business, entertainment, healthcare, media, philanthropy, politics, government, science and technology.

Indiaspora acts as a catalyst to transform the success of Indian Americans into meaningful impact in India and on the global stage. By sharing insight, hosting events and connecting people, Indiaspora aims to unite the professionally, geographically and religiously diverse Indian American community toward collective action.

Founded in 2012 by M.R. Rangaswami and led by an esteemed Board and Founder’s Circle, Indiaspora is an increasingly well-known 501c(3) non-profit working to shape the future of U.S.-India relations, as well as improve the lives of the citizens of both nations.

Indiaspora is committed to supporting the Indian American community on all levels. Click here to subscribe to the latest news on Indiaspora activities and individuals.
